Munich

Munich is the capital and largest city of the German state of Bavaria, on the banks of River Isar north of the Bavarian Alps. Munich, located at the river Isar in the south of Bavaria, is famous for its beautiful architecture, fine culture, and the annual Oktoberfest beer celebration. Although it was heavily damaged by allied bombing during World War II, many of its historic buildings have been rebuilt and the city center appears mostly as it did in the late 1800s including its largest church, the Frauenkirche, and the famous city hall (Neues Rathaus). Necessary for a BMW enthusiast is BMW Museum — Exhibitions highlight the history of the famous car maker while the adjacent BMW Welt presents its current products.

Innsbruck

Innsbruck, the “Bridge over the Inn”, is the capital of Austria’s Tirol and home to one of Europe’s most delightful historic old town centres. Surrounded by the craggy peaks of the Austrian Alps, it scores both as an Alpine playground and as a showcase for Habsburg Empire heritage.

Swarovski Crystal World museum

Swarovski Crystal Worlds opened in 1995 to celebrate the company’s 100th anniversary. The result was a grand, multi-sensory experience of crystal in all its facets. Multimedia artist André Heller developed an experiential concept, calling on luminaries from the world of art and design to interpret crystal however they saw fit. What emerged was the singular Chambers of Wonder in Swarovski Crystal Worlds.

Krimml Waterfall

Enjoy a spectacular hike to Austria’s highest waterfalls. The three stages of the hike, starting in the village of Krimml, take you to ever more spectacular views of the falls and the surrounding countryside.

Dachstein Ice Cave

Gigantic cave glaciers, vast icebergs, frozen cascades of blue-coloured ice and “ice chapels” are just some of the highlights of your tour. These caves are the perfect refuge for humans and animals on cold, rainy days – just as they have been for thousands of years – and on a hot summer’s day they are a welcome contrast to the outside world.

5 fingers

The 5fingers viewing platform in 2 108 m level of sea offers an adrenaline rush at the highest level. This is probably the most spectacular viewing platform in the Alps and reaches out like a hand over the 400 m drop.

König see (boat trip)

Germany’s Most Beautiful Alpine Lake Lake Königssee (or Königsee) lies just a couple of miles south of the town of Berchtesgaden and is Germany’s deepest and cleanest lake.

Salzburg

Salzburg’s „Old Town“ (Altstadt) is internationally renowned for its baroque architecture and is one of the best-preserved city centers north of the Alps. It was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997 and birthplace of Mozart.

Vienna

Vienna is the capital and largest city of Austria. The city is located in the eastern part of Austria and is close to the borders of the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Hungary. Major tourist attractions include the imperial palaces of the Hofburg and Schönbrunn (also home to the world’s oldest zoo, Tiergarten Schönbrunn) and the Riesenrad in the Prater.

Budapest

Budapest is the capital city of Hungary. With a unique, youthful atmosphere, a world-class classical music scene as well as a pulsating night life increasingly appreciated among European youth and, last but not least, an exceptionally rich offering of natural thermal baths, Budapest is one of Europe’s most delightful and enjoyable cities. Due to its scenic setting and its architecture it is nicknamed “Paris of the East”.  In 1987 Budapest was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List for the cultural and architectural significance of the Banks of the Danube, the Buda Castle Quarter and Andrássy Avenue.

Kutná Hora

Discover the history of the town that used to stand just behind the royal City of Prague some centuries ago, town that was called the jewel and the treasury of the country. Today, the original atmosphere breathes from every single street, from every house and church. Unique sights is bone church Kostnice.

Prague

Founded 12 centuries ago, Prague is a very old city and its historical architecture provides an interesting insight into the history. Wandering through the Old Town with its narrow streets of cobblestone seems to take you right back in time. The charming historical center and the castle area expanding across both banks of the Vltava River, connected by the renowned Charles Bridge, is definitely one of the most beautiful places in Prague. Both the castle and the bridge have earned the city the title of a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
